after updating to the last errata255 the ucs portal is broken - only systemsettings is visible on the portal site and an error is shown if trying to modify

Hello,
I have only the Administration-Icon left on my start page.
I had some custom icons which are gone
same here … 
As a workaround try this as user root:
univention-directory-listener-ctrl resync portal
univention-directory-listener-ctrl resync portal_entry
univention-directory-listener-ctrl resync portal_category
It would be very helpful for us if someone could post the updater logfile: /var/log/univention/updater.log.

On the local start pages the title is “Startsite for {hostname}” now.
That is probably not related to the original issue. It could still be an issue with the Portal update issued in Erratum 250. Which server role is this on?
The affected servers are DC slaves.
One would need the corresponding part from /var/log/univention/join.log where the joinscript 33univention-portalis executed to analyze this further.

It seems like executing the joinscript again fixed the problem for you? At least the joinscript finished without an error.
This was the log, after i have tried again the joinscript.
same with me. after a newly installed member server.
I found a “Work Arround” if I start the MGMT Session via “UCS-Dashboard” it works, but not if I start it directly.
