If the notifier ID on the master is smaller than on a backup, slave or memeber, the master may have been reset to an older snapshot. This may also occur with the backup2master if the upcoming master has not yet finished replicating or another system was already further along in the replication process.
Solution
The systems with the higher ID should be rejoined.
