I’m trying to virtualize my windows mashine as VDI , preferred on my UCS environment because it’s a local private installation. but since UCS 5 there is no graphical Interface to Manage VMs, so I’m looking for an alternative. First try was to use libvirt als Management Solution - but at the moment I’m not able this getting to work - there are an alternativ or a step-by-step guide.
Not sure this will help you at all at this point, but IMO, it would be better to run UCS and your Windows VM both inside a purpose built virtualization platform like VMware, Proxmox or whatever other option you might like. UCS has other priorities besides virtualization so I don’t think it would be best to rely on it for that purpose.
