Values of Univention Configuration Registry

Hallo all!

I´m playing around with Univention and I saw that the values in the Univention Configuration Registry for the mysql database can be changed. My question now is what are the values, e.g. for the value “innodb_buffer_pool_size = 157286400”? I assume that these are bits. Could anyone tell me more about it? Thank you very much for your help!

Hi,

this is the value which gets written to the configuration files. So it is the same which is used by the database itself in my.cnf.

Simply a 1:1 copy.

Hi knebb,

thank you for your help! Unfortunately, it doesn’t answer my question. There are no values in my.cnf. In /etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/60-ucr.cnf are the same values but what they are mean? Bytes, Kbit, MB?
