User Selfservice with Samba uninstalled

Hi,

I have univention 4.4 installed. It is a cloudserver so Samba isn’t relevant for me. I uninstalled Samba.
Now I created a new user.
For some reason some samba questions are still in the user management windows, but I did not fill out any of them.

I instructed the new user how to use self-service to change her password.
However this ended with error 20, undocumented reason why it failed.
Checking :

host -t srv “_domaincontroller_master._tcp.$(ucr get domainname).” 127.0.0.1
resulted in:
Using domain server:
Name: 127.0.0.1
Address: 127.0.0.1#53
Aliases:

Host _domaincontroller_master._tcp.mydomain.tld. not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

Does this mean that Samba is required for self-service or does another solution exist?
