Hello,

a short question I tried to update to Errata 4.3.x but the system is not alowing this updatew in case of

Weitere Releaseupdates sind verfügbar, können jedoch nicht installiert werden. Komponente 'cool-solutions' ist noch nicht für neuere Release-Aktualisierungen bereitgestellt worden.

Is there a possibility to figure out which packages are running over cool-solutions on this system?

I tried this from here

It seems there are no cool-solutions on this system anymore, should I deactivated this source or what can I do to update?

Think there was once lets encrypt delivered from this source but whit the official package it was removed…

Hey,

yeah, looks safe. Just deactivate the repository and re-try the upgrade. Deactivating is done by running ucr set repository/online/component/cool-solutions=no

after a wile I got the message about the system actualization


Hinweise zur Aktualisierung

Die Aktualisierung wird durchgeführt.

Lassen Sie das System eingeschaltet während des gesamten Aktualisierungsvorganges!

Es wird davon ausgegangen, dass das System während der Aktualisierung bis zu mehrere Minuten lang (via Web-Browser, SSH etc.) nicht erreicht werden kann, da Dienste gestoppt, aktualisiert und neu gestartet werden.

Hi do i know when the system upgrade is done, can I check this on the console by ssh?

Hey,

the whole upgrade process is logged to the file /var/log/univention/updater.log. I usually have a tail -f running on it during all upgrades.

The following will be posted there once the upgrade to 4.3-0 has finished:

****************************************************
*    THE UPDATE HAS BEEN FINISHED SUCCESSFULLY.    *
* Please make a page reload of UMC and login again *
****************************************************

Afterwards the updater will look for any availabe update on top of 4.3-0, for which there currently are none. It should be done a minute or so after the message above’s been shown.
