I unwisely installed UCS@school on a production server. When I tried uninstall it, the operation left some dangling html items (obviously non functioning) into the main admin page. How can I get rid of them?
TIA

Check if there are any remaining Debian packages:
dpkg -l | grep school
The portal can be cleaned by editing the portal objects through respective UMC module.
Sorry I do not understand what “editing the portal objects through respective UMC module.” means. I am a UCS newbie…
I apt-get removed all school packages… but I still see a:
# UCS@school Demo Portal (and all its icons) at the server home page…
TIA
Marco
When logged in, you’ll find behind Domain
the module Portal settings
. There you can edit the objects that are displayed on the portal page.
But easier still is just logging in as Administrator, returning to the portal and using the yellow edit button at the bottom right.
There are a few blog articles on that… here is the most recent one: https://www.univention.com/blog-en/2019/05/ucs-portal-gateway-to-your-it/
