Version: 4.4-4 errata528 (Blumenthal)
Problem: Unable to disable zone transfers
Test: performed “host -l domain.name 10.10.10.10” from a host client, zone transfers provided to client.
Troubleshooting:
- Followed these instructions: Q&A: Can I Disallow DNS Zone Transfers?
- Read documentation there is little information. Only information is in 11.2.1.3 https://docs.software-univention.de/manual-4.4.html#ip-config:Configuration_of_zone_transfers
- Tried stopping and starting bind9.service, also rebooting master and backup servers.
- Reached out to support @kkorte has been helping me and recommended I open this ticket.
Can anyone help?
