UCS with Kopano parallel to Windows Server/Exchange before takeover

Good afternoon,

I have installed UCS parallel to an existing Windows Server 2008 domain which I want UCS to take over after everything works.

Installation went fine, all AD users are visible in UCS.
I installed Kopano (Core, WebApp, Z-Push) afterwards and can connect to one of the users calendars on UCS using Outlook but don’t see an Exchange user’s data (contacts, calendar) in Kopano.

I would have thought that this would be synced, also.

If not: How can I ex-/import all the user’s data?

I’ve solved this by exporting Outlook data to a PST and importing it using the kopano-migration-pst tool.

Hi @toko42,

you can find our migration instructions at https://documentation.kopano.io/kopano_migration_manual/ and some UCS specific instructions at https://wiki.z-hub.io/display/K4U/Migrating+to+Kopano+installed+on+Univention.

But the domain takeover from UCS indeed does not migrate and Kopano specific data.
