Successfully installed UCS as Windows Domain member for backup and file sharing purposes.
Everything works fine. But after some time (no updates were made to UCS during this period) one user got problems with accessing share. Other users still can access shares.
In /var/log/samba/log.smbd found
[2022/08/22 16:45:19.374484, 0] ../../source3/auth/auth_util.c:1889(check_account)
check_account: Failed to convert SID S-1-5-21-2615459141-2503667724-3635462610-2175 to a UID (dom_user[DOMAIN+user])
Tried to apply solution from post:
Changed settings to idmap range. As result, UCS server became totaly unaccessible. No anyuser can access any share. Setting idmap to previous values doesn’t help at all.
What else can I try?
