UCS on AWS EC2 using community stack cannot create VPC

Hi,

I am trying to build UCS@School scenario 3 proof of concept on AWS EC2 using the AWS Community link from the UCS homepage however I appear to have hit an obstacle whilst building the instance and would appreciate some guidance.
In the @school documentation it suggests a network topology of 10.0.0.0/8 and then a subnet for the central management machines of 10.0.0.0/16 and schools of 10.1-254.0.0/16 etc.
Therefore I have tried to create a VPC using a CIDR 10.0.0.0/8 and the AWS console does not allow this as is says CIDRs must be between /16 and /28.
What suggestions do people have for setting up the VPC on AWS EC2 please?

Hi,

the documentation SUGGESTS. You are free to use different ranges. If there is a limitation on Amazon you might want to use instead of /8 the /16 and instead of /16 the /20.
Use a netmask calculator for your further needs then.
