OpenSSH release 9.8 fixes a critical vulnerability tracked as CVE-2024-6387. It was introduced with: via this commit into the tag V_8_5_P1. The code change that introduced the vulnerability is not present in any UCS release, so UCS is unaffected by this security issue.
