UCS as a Docker image?

Hi@all,

I have found references here in the forum to the fact that the UCS is also available as a Docker image.

Is this officially supported and is the handling (within the UCS itself … config, apps ect.) the same as the installation with the ISO?

Where are the differences?

I use Proxmox 6.3 as a VM host and have so far installed all UCS’s as a VM with the ISO.

I am in the process of getting to grips with Docker :slight_smile:

I believe the docker image is for building apps that would be installed from the App Center. I don’t think it’s designed to be a replacement for the ISO, but I’ve not tried it yet, so I could be wrong. I have been planning on building a couple of Apps at some point, but I haven’t had the time to devote to it yet.
