We are happy to announce the first release of Univention Corporate Client (UCC), an operating and management system for clients like notebooks, PCs or thin clients. Univention Corporate Client can be easily installed with Univention App Center. UCC clients are managed centrally with the webbased management system in Univention Corporate Server (UCS) and the thin clients have access to Microsoft Windows terminal server, Citrix terminal server and a Linux terminal server included in UCC.
Univention Corporate Client on the one hand consists of an image each for desktops and thin clients and on the other hand it provides the integration with the UCS management system. UCC 1.0 requires a UCS 3.1 system. The quick start guide describes requirements and installation of UCC 1.0. The UCC manual is available in the formats PDF and HTML.
