Hi - habe meine UCS Systeme mit den letzten Updates bespielt (4.2-3 errata305) - incl Kopano Core Update auf 8.3.1-35.
Nachrichten kann ich weiterhin erhalten - nur beim senden erhalte ich nun eine Fehlermeldung:
TLS is required, but host smtp.1und1.de[212.227.15.183] refused to start TLS: 500 Syntax error, command unrecognized
Gehe also davon aus, dass sich bei dem Update auch eine (oder mehr) Einstellung hier geändert hat.
Wer hat eine Idee?

Merkwürdig, dass das bei Ihnen nicht klappt.
postconf relayhost und ucr get mail/relayhost posten.PS: Kopano hat mit dem Mailversand nichts zu tun. Das hängt rein an Postfix.

theoretisch kann das Verhalten dann noch auftreten, wenn (warum auch immer) in der main.cf smtp_never_send_ehlo gesetzt ist.

Hallo Bytemine - in der datei main.cf (/etc/postfix/main.cf) gibt es keinen Eintrag der mit “smtp_never” anfängt.
Ebenso unter “/usr/lib/postfix/main.cf” gibt es hier keinen Eintrag der mit “smtp_never” anfängt.
Schaue ich an der falschen Stelle - oder ist das ein Zeichen dafür das dieser Part stimmt?

Erratum 288 hat ein paar Änderungen für univention-mail-postfix, allerdings ist außer der Erweiterung hinsichtlich main.cf.local auf den ersten Blick nichts, was auf ausgehende Mails greifen sollte.
Der Part stimmt wohl (wie erwartet). Im Zweifel nochmal wie schon von mosu vorgeschlagen mit postconf pruefen, also postconf smtp_never_send_ehlo.

können Sie bitte mal die Ausgabe von postconf -n posten? Das sind alle aktiven Postfix-Einstellungen, die nicht auf den jeweiligen Standardwert gesetzt sind.

danke für die Daten. Mir wird leider auch aus denen nicht ganz klar, warum sich die beiden Server so miteinander verhalten. Auch der Vergleich mit der Ubuntu-Konfiguration zeigt mir gerade nichts, was super auffällig wäre.
Daher würde ich als nächstes gerne Debug-Infos vom Postfix bei der Kommunikation mit 212.227.15.183 haben. Dazu bitte mal auf Ihrem UCS-Server wie folgt vorgehen:
postconf relayhost=212.227.15.183
/etc/postfix/sasl_auth eintragen (mit den selben Logindaten wie smtp.1und1.de), gefolgt von postmap /etc/postfix/sasl_auth
postconf debug_peer_list=212.227.15.183
postfix reload
/var/log/mail.log von der Kommunikation stehen, hier posten (Achtung: Infos bereinigen, falls dort sensitive Sachen stehen; da gibt’s nämlich wirklich praktisch die ganze Kommunikation zu sehen)Die Meldungen, die ich meine, sehen dann z.B. so aus:

Hi Mosu - danke für die Antwort/Anleitung - leider bin ich nur ein Linux Anfänger und mir ist nicht klar wie die genau Syntax der Datei “/etc/postfix/sasl_auth” aussehen soll?
Ich habe es mal wie folgt versucht “212.227.15.183 ACCOUNT:KENNWORT” - erhalte dann jedoch beim ausführen eine Fehlermeldung “/etc/postfix/sasl_auth: line 1: 212.227.15.183: command not found”.

Keine Ahnung ob das weiter hilft - aber derzeit stehen die Anmeldeinformationen in der Datei “/etc/postfix/smtp_auth” und nicht in der Datei "/etc/postfix/sasl_auth
" - die ist leer.
Auf dem Ubuntu System sind hier beide Dateien leer. Da ich den Eintrag über webmin eingetragen haben, kann ich also gar nicht sagen wo der hingeschrieben wurde ;-(

das ergibt irgendwie alles keinen Sinn, was ich da sehe. Kann es evtl. sein, dass Sie zwischen Ihrem Mailserver und dem von 1&1 noch eine Firewall/AntiVirus-Appliance haben, die transparent den kompletten Mailverkehr scannen soll?
