I am just setting up my first UCS preparing for another first prod-install (used UCS some times before just for fun, now preparing for prod use).
I want to realise the use of a separate samba file server instead of using the Univention UCS for file storage.
How can I make the windows userprofile directory be located on a different server / network share?
Just as an example:
10.1.21.1 - UCS
10.1.21.11 - File-Server with SMB Windows Shares
The File-Server is member of the Domain and has a file share $userprofiles. Will the user directory be auto-generated anymore and what do I have to enter in the settings for the user?
Do I have to modify the configuration in the UCS for the FileServer?
