Ssh login master-->slave errors

Hi, My ucs master today cannot login into backup and slave machines. This is error:

sshd[19735]: pam_unix(sshd:auth): authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty=ssh ruser= rhost=masterIP  user=ucs-master$

Please, how can I fix it?

I realize this post is more than two years old. Nevertheless I have to ask: has anyone a hint what one should do in this case?
