I have a secondary domain control (both DCs running 4.4.7 errata 850). Today, the secondary controller stopped working. It was up and running, and responding to any queries, but it wouldn’t authenticate any users or computers. I tried to log in to the web console, and it wouldn’t let me do that either - stating bad login name or password.
It caused a headache or two before I figured out what was happening.
All it did was secondary DC stuff, so I’ll end up just rebuilding it from scratch, but I’d really like to know if anyone has seen something like this before.
