Rocketchat Ldap Timeout after install

Hi,

after fresh install Rocketchat on fresh Memberserver, i cant login with users. The Ldap Setting Test tell: Timeout.

Adress, port and Base DN is correct. Other Apps on the Memberserver are usable. All Users are activated in “apps” for rocketchat. We not use saml Single Sign-on. Join process ran perfectly.

Any ideas? i already tried to reinstall Rocketchat.

Hello @Corin,

please login with your user admin to Rocket.Chat, go to Administration → LDAP and try Test Connection. What does it say?

A re-installation will keep the previous settings. To really get a plain re-installation you need to remote the directory /var/lib/univention-appcenter/apps/rocketchat. The settings are saved in MongoDB, whose data is saved in the data sub directory.

Test Connection: Timeout
I deleted /var/lib/univention-appcenter/apps/rocketchat before i reinstalled.

I tested Rocketchat on my backup DC, it rans correct and connection test on Ldap are fine. But i need Rocketchat on a Memberserver.

I tried Main and Backup DC to connect Ldap in Rocketchat on my Memberserver. All settings are Timeout by Test.

I reinstalled the complete memberserver. 2 Days it runs with ldap connection.
Now i have Problems again.

What’s the ip address of UCS ldap server ?
Did you have try to set the docker IP address in the host setting ?
