Can I user the “windows-way” to administer permissions on shares?
Answer:
Yes, you can configure the so called “ACLs” (Access Control Lists).
You need to have the ACL setting enabled on a per-share base:
Set “NT ACL support” and you can edit permissions by selecting the share and then set the permissions as usually through Windows.
