Problem:
Write access on shares on a qnap are not accessable anymore. Changing and writing files is no longer possible.
Backround:
- QNAP was updated
Since physical disks can only be treated as such if they are mounted via iscsi, if they are located on a storage device, for example, it should be noted here that iscsi works with tokens. This token expires when the iscsi participant is restarted and must be renewed by the server restart.
Investigation:
Check the share via smbclient
If you see something like that this is a hint to restart the server:
NT_STATUS_MEDIA_WRITE_PROTECTED opening remote file /Desktop/test
Solution
Restart the server, when the QNAP was updated
