Problem
You Samba logfiles (/var/log/samba) print error messages:
named[12866]: database: error: samba_dlz: dlz_create ignored, #refs=1
named[12866]: database: info: samba_dlz: starting configure
Environment
To perform the dns updates Samba loads a internal module called “samba_dlz”. The message states the module is already installed and activated therefore a second one will not be initialized.
Solution
Even though Samba prints “error” this message can be ignored.
