Problem: perl: warning: Setting locale failed

Problem

When executing a command on command line, I get more or less the following Error-Message:

perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
        LANGUAGE = (unset),
        LC_ALL = (unset),
        LANG = "en_IN"
    are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory

Solution

You need to arrange the locales on your system by executing the following command:

ucr set locale/default=<YOUR_LOCALE_HERE>.UTF-8:UTF-8
ucr set locale=<YOUR_LOCALE_HERE>.UTF-8:UTF-8
