Problem: Nextcloud group mapping with LDAP not matching

Problem

After renaming of a bulk of groupnames (f.e. change of schoolyear) the groupname in LDAP and in Nextcloud is not matching.

Environment

UCS@school single server environment
UCS 4.4-8 errata1077, ucsschool 4.4 v9, nextcloud app 21.0.4-0
Happened after schoolyear switch ~ 150 groups

Solution

If possible test this with a clone in a test environment first!

  1. Log into Nextcloud GUI as adminstrator

  2. Go to settings → LDAP / AD integration → Expert and press “Clear Groupname LDAP-Group mapping”
    Nextcloud-GruppenLDAP-mapping

  3. Remount the shares by:

univention-directory-listener-ctrl resync nextcloud-samba-group-share-config

  1. Print and check the Mountlist:

univention-app shell nextcloud sudo -u www-data /var/www/html/occ files_external:list
