Problem
Adobe running on Mac OS X does not release locks on UCS shares
Environment
MacOS X with Adobe does not releas locks on a UCS (Samba) share which leads to undeleatable files, errors while saving etc.
It appears to be related to preview of Adobe but preview can not be disabled.
Solution
Unfortunately not a solution but at least a workaround.
It’s mitigated mounting the samba share with cifs:// instead of smb://
