Problem:
Functional account is not working properly, especially in a distributed environment, where OX and Imap are on different servers. In OX UI opening the functional mailbox fails with the following error message:
Die zur Verfügung gestellten Zugangsdaten zum Zugriff auf den E-Mail-Server ucs-5680.univention.intranet scheinen falsch zu sein. Bitte korrigieren Sie sie.
We have a bugfix for that with 7.10.6-ucs11 Bug 58699
But in this scenario it was still an issue.
Environment:
Ox-Appsuite is installed on one Server and IMAP → postfix and dovecot are on an other server.
Is this an allowed senario?

Solution:
The ipdated packages come from the ox repository and are only on the OX server. With the distributed environment having a seperat postfix and dovecot on an other server, the fixed packages are not there by default.
Instead of copying the packages via apt download <packagename> and scp to the other server, there is a more charming way:
univention-app register oxseforucs --component --do-it
univention-install univention-mail-dovecot-ox
univention-install univention-mail-postfix-ox
univention-run-join-scripts
