Problem
We would like to deploy group policies. Unfortunately, the OU “computers” is not displayed in the
Group Policy Editor
Solution
By default, our system creates the Computers container as a CN rather than an OU.
However, since GPOs can only be attached to OUs, it is not displayed in your GPO editor.
So if you want to apply GPOs to the Computers container as well, you must first create a new OU and move all the computer objects to that OU.
It is important to note here that under no circumstances should you move the UCS servers out of its containers.
We recommend that you create the new OU in the UMC, because here you can also define that it should be a standard container for computer objects.
