I’m new to active directory and owncloud environment, I have set an AD to owncloud but I cannot find any box to edit base dn and OU in that, would you please guide me?
In case you want to use the UCS-based appliance you might consider using the Active Directory Connection.
I’ve followed that link but I couldn’t find out how to setup Base DN and user filter in that mode.
The LDAP-Setting should be in the same place as described in https://doc.owncloud.org/server/latest/admin_manual/configuration/user/user_auth_ldap.html.
But it makes no sense to alter these settings because its connecting against the LDAP provided by UCS. This should get all users through the mentioned AD connection.
It might be worth to refine your problem description, at least to me it is not fully clear what you are trying to achieve.
I have several user groups in AD and the default setting which you mentioned earlier fetchs all users, but I want some specific user to be fetched.
