A bit disappointing but as suspected just the older version 7. How future proof is that ?
The OX Connector, which is available as App for UCS, is compatible to OX 7 and OX 8 – so you can integrate OX 8 with UCS / Nubus. The OX App for UCS is version 7, as OX 8 expects Kubernetes.

As OX is the provider of the App, for further questions I recommend to get in touch with OX or discuss this in an OX forum.
Thanks Ingo for clarification. My comment wasn’t meant as criticism to Univention, I’m aware that apps come from other providers. My conclusion is that the OX App for UCS now will help people upgrade their running installations to UCS 5.2, so far thanks to Open-Xchange for delivering this. But for new installations better to deal with a separate OX on Kubernetes and maybe the OX-Connector.
