Problem
No available software updates are shown on a UCS 4.2-0 AWS instance
Reason
Due to a misconfiguration while creating the Image, the Repository for 4.2-0 errata updates was removed from the image. The next update that will be shown on these instances is the update to UCS 4.2-1.
Solution
Add the errata Repository by executing the following on the UCS 4.2-0 instance.
ucr set repository/online/component/4.2-0-errata/version=4.2 \
repository/online/component/4.2-0-errata=enabled
Updates will now be found and can be installed in the Univention Management Console, or by executing
univention-upgrade
