Due to an update of our virtualisation host the name of the UCS’ network interface was changed. To solve this problem I entered the new name in /etc/network/interfaces manually and restarted the service.

Finally it must be configured in Univention Configuration Registry. To do it via webconfig is a hassle, but the right way is to edit the UCR directly in the commadn line of the UCS. I filtered the registry by the old interface name and used these entries with the ucr command and with help of the manual “Setting UCR variable”.
