Nagios UNIVENTION_LDAP returns CRITICAL

Hi everyone,

to check the LDAP state of our DC servers, we added the UNIVENTION_LDAP check to these servers. Strangely, from our nagios host, all these LDAP tests fail. For the DC master server, the error message is:

Could not bind to the LDAP server
For the slaves it is:

Could not search/find objectclasses in dc=some,dc=domain

Starting the script manually on the servers, everything looks fine. All the other checks are ok.

Is there anything special with the UNIVENTION_LDAP check?

Hi!

on a newly installed system I only have UNIVENTION_LDAP_AUTH.
UNIVENTION_LDAP is (afaik) a leftover from pre-UCS-3.0 times and only works without authentication (anonymous LDAP bind).
