Mount UCS shares to Ubuntu server

Hi@all,

I have several shares on the ADS on the UCS. With the Ubuntu desktops, mounting is no problem. This is handled by pam_mount, which uses the credentials of the user who is currently logging in.

Now there are still Ubuntu server VM’s where no user logs in interactively. These are, like the desktops via ADS-Joinscript in the UCS/ADS domain.

The only possibility I have found so far is to store the login data (user + password) in plain text via fstab when mounting the Samab shares.

Is there another more elegant method?
