Our main office printer is a Brother MFC-L3770CDW. Brother provides a linux driver package that gets installed by a script that’s downloaded from their web site. The script automatically adds the printer to the CUPS config, and I can confirm that it works fine. I can print to it from the command line with no issues. However, because I didn’t use the Univention interface to set it up, it doesn’t show up as an installed printer. If I try to add it through the interface, the driver that the installation script installed does not show up in the list. It still only contains the built-in drivers.
How do I resolve this?
