New user here, setup UCS all fine and currently testing things out in order to replace older AD closed source systems.
I’ve added the AD compatible DC app in my setup, so the process I’m interfacing on TCP:636 = ldap[master]
While everything works fine, I’ve noticed that authentications towards LDAPs needs to be conducted using the userPrincipalName, which in my current setup is rather long… @ucs.domain.local)… Went for option#2 here: Use of an external DNS server
Is there any way to possibly login using the sAMAccountName uniquely ?
