LDAP over SSL documentation?

I’ve looked at both topics talking about LDAP over SSL in these forums, but I can’t find documentation on it on Univention’s site? Where can we configure LDAP to be secure over SSL, or am I missing it?

LDAP is actually configured to use ssl by default.

Appreciate your feedback, I was trying to do some test queries but wasn’t getting any hits. Though, with unsecured, it worked fine. I’ll investigate and see what’s wrong then.

You migth use the wrong ports. In UCS for secured OpenLDAP use port 7636.
