Hi@all,
I have the problem that the usb-dongel I passed a vm through after the reboot is gone. The dongle is plugged into the usb of the mainboard.
Does anyone have any idea why?

Hi,
I am unsure here but I remember on VMware hosts you could set USB devices to “attach at boot” which the would survive a reboot even of the host. By default they would be disconnected, too.
For UVMM I have not yet checked for such a setting and I do not know about hte default behaviour of KVM/Qemu. Sorry.
Greetings.

something would change if i give an usb-card to the guest and insert the dongle there?
