personally I would recommend to run everything that is not compiled for Univention (or available from their repos/appcenter) in a container. This way you will not run into dependency issues down the road when for example upgrading your Univention system itself.

Fortunately there were no dependencies, just a single standard programm (gocryptfs) outdated on debian 9.x as on 10.x also, which i installed from testing to the latest version.
