During the installation of the VirtualBox images of owncloud I have the problem, that it is not possible to set the FQDN to xxx.schöberl.de or xxx.xn--schberl-c1a.de.
Are IDN-Domains not supported?

there is a bug report Bug 45814 - eMail-Addresses in IDN-Domains are not possible saying that IDN mailadresses are currently not supported, so I’d guess that this is a limitation in general.

I thought, that it should run nearly 9 years after IDN top level domais were available.
OK, then I have to look for another possibility!
