Hide dot files = no does not have effect under UCS 5.2

As we need to have dot files (.htaccess etc) visible, we added manually in our samba share configurations in /etc/samba/shares.conf.d the line
“hide dot files = no”. After updating from UCS 5.09 to 5.2 this line has no effect anymore. The entry is still there but dot files are hidden. Is there another way how to declare dot files as visible?

Edit: I did some more research: the “hide dot files” entry is still working, just the files which have been already stored on the server before the update kept their hidden flag. New created files behaving normally.
