Hardware - Baremetal Installation on a Intel NUC/ Mini/ SFF - PC

Hello

who has experience with UCS server installation on NUC/mini PC or SFF - PC

My problem is the following.

I have an Intel NUC i3 8th Gen (NUC8i3BEH) / 16 GB RAM / SSD 256 Nvme / Modern UEFI - BIOS.

Linux Mint runs very performant / everything top

Ubuntu - Server can also be installed after switching off the UEFI-Inst. in the BIOS

UCS - Univention Corporate Server/ Debian-based/ starts but cannot detect a network card. A list of network cards is listed
but still nothing is detected when selecting the respective Intel network driver.
You can let the installation continue, but at some point it will ask again for the network config again.

With Linux Mint and Ubuntu server, there were never any problems with network detection.

Thanks in advance

I have running here an NUC6CAYH with an DC Backup. And it is working normaly since about 1 year. My networkcard:

Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 15)

Hi
i think my problem is the intel ethernetcard, realtek is better, but what you means with " DC " - backup.

DC Backup (DomainController Backup)

Ah ok, of corse.

Thx`s for answering
