We have downloaded and want to configure the open Project VM machine with Server

Univention Corporate Server 4.2-1:
We are using default credentials :- user- admin
password- admin
but facing the login issues.
Kindly share the default credentials.
Machine Type : Vmware Image.

Where did you get the image from? 4.2.1 sounds pretty outdated…

There should run a wizard on first bootup where you configure your credentials…
Usually UCS uses Administrator as username instead of admin. And I would try to use “univention” as password…
