Egroupware - mailbox disappeared tempoary

Hi - since some time I’m facing the following issue:

  • I’m using 2 mailboxes

  • In both mailboxes I have created additional folders and rules.

  • This all worked fine since about the last 6 (+) months

  • I’m not sure if it has something to to with the upgrade to UCS 5.2, but this was mainly the only change I did.

  • UCS1 is my primary // UCS2 is my backup // UCS3 is mailserver (5.2-1 errata62) // UCS4 is Egroupware server (5.2-1 errata62)

  • It doesn’t matter if I’m opening the web-app via mobile firefox or chrome or via desktop version.

  • also not sure what trigger it is, but when sitching between folders, mainly my main mailbox (the top one) is showing no more mail in the inbox - and all additional folders are gone as well.

  • In some folders (e.g. DRAFT) I can still see mails.

  • Than it takes some time - and I can reload all folders

  • And than all folders are back - and all mails are back as well
  • I checked as well during such a situation to access via a different device - but it’s the same view.

It’s a bit painful when you are getting send a code to login - but your inbox does not show up any mails at that time ;-(

Is the behaviour reproducible?

Which EGroupware version are you running?
An update is in the pipeline for UCS:

Please have a look at this in the desktop browser with the console if you provoke the problem.
This may give you some clues.


What does it look like visually when you no longer see any emails?
Is it blue in the header area?

The version is 23.1.20250307
Can I reproduce it —> yes and no. As mentioned - until now I was unable to find a way to force the issue - but it happend multiple time the day.

I will check the document and provide feedback.

I will also send share a picture next tie it happens.

Also today I was facing the issues 2 or 3 time - but had not the time to troubleshoot. Now I have the time, but I’m unable to reproduce the issue ;-(

I will keep following this up.

23.1.20240416 should be released for UCS.

But I don’t know that we have fixed anything that matches your error description.
