Domain and forest function level for domain ‘DC=super-nailcenter,DC=local’

Forest function level: (Windows) 2003
Domain function level: (Windows) 2003
Lowest function level of a DC: (Windows) 2008 R2

So do I have to raise the Level?
Thats the state after Takeover

Dear cpzengel,

you don’t have to raise the Level. The values have been copied from the fomer AD DC

but if i want to raise the level? whats to do?

Hi cpzengel,

you can raise the level. But please be aware that there are reports for Microsoft Active Directory as well as for Samba that Windows Clients may show authentication errors after raising the domain and forest function level. See https://forge.univention.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=39207 for more information.

Anyway, if you still want to raise the level, I think this link will be of help to you:
