Creating an UCR template

Hello,

I need to edit the system configuration file /etc/sysctl.conf but there is no corresponding UCR template available in /etc/univention/templates/files/etc. My understanding is that the UCS approach is that system configuration should be done via UCR, policies, profiles etc. rather than editing the system configuration files directly.

We don’t have UCR templates for every configuration file. So, you can modify the file directly.
