to create a CNAME record within your DNS - for example to have a valid subdomain entry - you have to perform the following steps:
- open the DNS section in your Univention Managament Console
- Select your forward zone (in the tree view on the left side) and add a new Alias record
- enter the following values
- for example to add a subdomain entry
