Cant Join Domain after finishing Takeover

Hi, I get the following Error on Domain Join

Hinweis: Diese Informationen sind für einen Netzwerkadministrator bestimmt. Wenden Sie sich an den Netzwerkadministrator, wenn Sie kein Netzwerkadministrator sind, und leiten Sie die Informationen in der Datei C:\Windows\debug\dcdiag.txt weiter.

Der folgende Fehler ist beim Abfragen von DNS über den Ressourceneintrag der Dienstidentifizierung (SRV) aufgetreten, der zur Suche eines Active Directory-Domänencontrollers (AD DC) für die Domäne “super-nailcenter.local” verwendet wird:

Fehler: “DNS-Serverfehler.”
(Fehlercode 0x0000232A RCODE_SERVER_FAILURE)

Es handelt sich um die Abfrage des Dienstidentifizierungseintrags (SRV) für _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.super-nailcenter.local.

Die häufigsten Ursachen dieses Fehlers sind:

  • Die von dem Computer verwendeten DNS-Server enthalten falsche Stammhinweise. Der Computer wurde zur Verwendung der folgenden IP-Adressen konfiguriert:

192.168.188.1
192.168.188.5

  • Mindestens eine der folgenden Zonen enthalten eine falsche Delegierung:

super-nailcenter.local
local
. (die Stammzone)

Good Morning cpzengel,

the message implies that there is some configuration error with the DNS.
Was the takeover successful? If the Takeover was successful, then Windows clients do not need to rejoin the domain i.e if they were formerly a member of the domain.

Run the UCS help-script below on the UCS system to test if the dns configuration is correct. You can post the outcome of the script.

#  cd /usr/share/univention-samba4/scripts
# ./check_essential_samba4_dns_records.sh

Also in the script, you can see reports about “some missing dns configuration”.

  • Check if the UCS host name is resolvable, does it resolve to the correct IP address?
# host  $(hostname -f)

thanks a lot this can be closed.
was a lot of old stuff in dns and ad and has been fixed by support
