HI,
I can’t change some of the default icons on the UMC portal. I tried many different types of icons adding re-moving and again … But all I see are the standard UCS icons. It seems that the first icons are there but any new does not work?

there is a known issue that leads to the described situation (editing portal entries aren’t applied). This is only happening from time to time and we are currently trying to reproduce it. See also https://forge.univention.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=49526
Please try to reboot the instance and try again to edit entries. Do the changes apply afterwards?

thanks for your reply.
I tried rebooting etc. several times. Changing images .jpg .png etc. but no success.
I can edit and import new images, the look fine in the preview but not after save it they don’t appear.

Maybe it helps to trigger the portal update manually?
touch /var/cache/univention-portal/refresh_portal
service univention-portal-server restart
no, it did not change anything.
But I noticed that I could add a new entry with picture. But I cant change the older one. And if I try to ad more some work some don’t. I still try to figure out more details…
I think I found a Bug and a workaround 
If I create a new entry with a dot “.” the image will not be visible.
Example:
new Entry internalName = “something.com” = no image.
new Entry internalName = “something_com” = image visible.
