Bind9 with samba4 backend not starting

Hello,

we have a primary AD compatible DC with a backup DC. Both running bind9 with samba4 backend. One slave DC only runs on bind9 with ldap backend and when I change the backend it throws following errors.

named[5149]: samba_dlz: Unable to get basedn for /var/lib/samba/private/sam.ldb - NULL Base DN invalid for a base search

For that specific slave DC there is as well no alias record like for the other servers, which correctly runs on samba4/bind9. Maybe it has something to do with it?

What can I do, to solve that problem?

Obviously I have forgotten to set that slave DC as an Active Directory Controller while the install. I have installed the Active Directory component which fixed that problem.
