I have one server installed UCS 4.0 with thousands of users , now I have another server installed 4.2 UCS with different domain name I want to backup 4.0 UCS and restore to 4.2 UCS is it possible?

there’s no automated way to transfer content the way you want it to be transferred. You can try scripting such an import/export, e.g. by using the udm command line tool, potentially in combination with univention-ldapsearch.
